Information Icon RouteBuilder Object Library License
Horizontal Rule

The RouteBuilder Usage License, which is included with each copy of the RouteBuilder program, is also reproduced here with kind permission from Uwe Post and Thomas Tschofenig, developers of the RouteBuilder program - you can visit the RouteBuilder homepage here: http://routebuilder.bve-routes.com/

Key aspects relating to object re-use have been highlighted for your convenience:

 RouteBuilder Licence

RouteBuilder Usage Licence
  • By installing and using the program you state that you accept this license
  • RouteBuilder is Freeware
  • You may not sell RouteBuilder or publish it on your homepage. If you want to publish it in a freeware collection or on your website you need our agreement
  • Despite the effort that went into building RouteBuilder, there's no warranty that it's free of bugs. You are using it at your own risk
  • Due to BVE route format restrictions, we do not guarantee that exported routes look as you expect
  • You are encouraged to publish routes you built with RouteBuilder to the internet. You must include the credits file created automatically and may not delete anything in it. You must state the fact that you built the route using RouteBuilder
  • You may not sell routes built with RouteBuilder
  • You may use all objects coming with the RouteBuilder base library in your routes without asking for permission. Watch the copyright notices in the files. You may not change the files. You may copy these objects and change your copy to fit your needs if you keep the original copyright notice and the previous author's name. You are encouraged to add your name to the ;author= line separated by a comma and to add the object to the library by sending it to routebuilder@bve-routes.com. We may decide if and when we include the object
  • You are encouraged to add objects which you made yourself to the RouteBuilder base library by sending them to us. We may decide if or when we include the object
  • By submitting objects to the base library you allow the objects to be used by others like stated in this license.
